Game of Thrones season 8 news: Sophie Turner reveals finale ‘BETRAYALS’ as war rages on

GAME OF THRONES fans are waiting patiently for the final ever season of the HBO hit and it seems there could be betrayals on the horizon for the heroes, according to Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark in the fantasy epic.

Game of Thrones fans are desperate to know how their beloved series will end.

But it seems they could be in line for a shocking result, if Sophie Turner’s latest tease comes true.

The Sansa Stark star recently opened up on filming season eight and it seems there will be even more twists and turns on the horizon.

Sophie, 22, recently suggested in 1883 magazine how there is serious drama incoming.

She teased: “What can you know… This season is bloodier than ever.
“It’s full of betrayal, full of war, full of danger.

“That’s all I can say without giving too much away,” Sophie explained.

But who is it being betrayed? And what will it mean for the outcome of the final Game of Thrones episodes?

Winter Is Coming writes how Sansa could be the one to backstab Jon Snow (played by Kit Harington).

The pair have already clashed about how The North should be run, and with Jon on the hunt to defeat the Night King (Vladimir Furdik), perhaps he has let her have too much power.

Elsewhere in the magazine, Sophie went on to explain how she finds hysteria surrounding Game of Thrones “entertaining”.

She confessed: “It doesn’t get frustrating. I mean it’s entertaining. It does happen.

“I remember when I dyed my hair blonde, and everyone thought Sansa was a Targaryen.

“Everyone reads very much into what we do in our personal lives.”

This was seen when she unveiled her Game of Thrones-themed tattoo, which sent fans into turmoil.

The Stark sigil on Sophie’s arm was accompanied with “The Pack Survives”, and many thought it was a hint.

She commented: “Obviously you know the tattoo is related to the show. It’s just a quote from last season.

“I think the die-hard fans know that but we like the speculations. It keeps it interesting!

“Also, the more off the mark the better for our season. So you know, I’ll throw them off with anything. I’m going to get a tattoo of completely wrong hints on my forehead.”

Game of Thrones season 8 will return to HBO and Sky Atlantic in 2019. Seasons 1-7 are currently streaming on NOW TV.
