Boozed-up Brits danced with locals on the street as Panama fans posed for selfies with Three Lions fans.

The crowd swelled as they joined Russians along the city's busy Bolshaya Pokrovskaya area - lined by merchant houses, banks, and museums.

Waving St George's flags, supporters cheered and downed beers as they kept on their best behaviour ahead of today's clash.

Fans have spent a staggering £209million on alcohol watching the first round of the tournament - with a further £128 million set to be spent in pubs, bars and cafes.

England will take on Panama today in what the country hope will be a repeat performance of our match against Tunisia last week when Harry Kane netted two goals for a 2-1 win.

Minnows Panama have thrown their support behind defender Roman Torres, who became a hero overnight when he scored a winning goal against Costa Rica in 2-1 win that helped clinch their spot in Russia.
The 15st 8lbs, 6ft 3ins giant has vowed to use all his support to stop Kane from scoring another late winner.

Today's game will kick off at 1pm but manager Gareth Southgate has revealed Dele Alli will miss the action and Raheem Sterling will keep his Three Lions place.

The lunchtime fixture is expected to pull in an audience of around 25million as soaring temperatures look set to get the nation in celebratory mood.

National Grid is braced for a huge power surge as nearly half the nation tune in - with half a million kettles set to be flicked on during halftime.
