X Factor star Jake Quickenden 'SPLITS' from fiancée Danielle Fogarty after three-years

Former X Factor contestant Jake Quickenden has reportedly broken up with his partner of three-years, Danielle Fogarty, just seven months after he proposed to the eldest daughter of motorcycle legend Carl Fogarty on his 29th birthday.
Former X Factor contestant Jake Quickenden has apparently split from fiancée Danielle Fogarty seven months after he got down on one knee.

It is claimed the couple called off their short-lived engagement during a romantic break in Rome on Tuesday.

Their separation was reportedly brought on because Danielle, 26, had an issue with Jake partying with single Dancing On Ice co-star Kem Cetinay, 21.

The daughter of motorcycle champion Carl Fogarty, 52, and former I’m A Celebrity.. Get Me Out Of Here! contestant Jake, 29, apparently had a series of blazing rows over his partying ways.

A source said: “Jake and Danielle have been joined at the hip since her dad introduced them. But winning Dancing On Ice has meant Jake’s had other priorities.

“He’s been touring the country with Kem on the show’s tour and getting a lot of female attention, which hasn’t been easy for Danielle.”

The insider went on to tell The Sun: “Things aren’t going to get any easier on that front either, with Jake set to join The Dreamboys strip group.
“It’s caused a lot of friction and they’ve both decided to take a breather.

“They are now in the UK and are spending time with their families. The wedding is very much off for now.”

The pair first met in 2014, when they were introduced to each other by sporting legend Carl at the I’m A Celebrity afterparty.

In September, Jake revealed he had asked for Carl’s permission to marry his eldest child, telling HELLO!: "I said, 'I know I eat all your food but I'll always be there for Dan and I'd love to marry her’.”

He added: "I had a whole speech prepared, but as soon as I opened the ring box I was blubbing and I couldn't speak.

“I didn't even ask Danielle to marry me, but luckily she said 'Yes' when she saw the ring – and then she started crying too.

“From the moment we met, I knew I'd propose one day and I chose to do it on my birthday because I knew I could get away with being a bit sneak.”

Jake shot to fame on the The X Factor in 2012, where he impressed judges with his rendition of Kings of Leon’s Use Somebody in the first round.

But he was sent packing during the judges house by Nicole Scherzinger, who chose This Morning’s Rylan Clark-Neal over him.

He returned to the singing contest in 2014 before appearing in the 14th series of I’m A Celebrity.. Get Me Out Of Here! that same year.

This year he starred in ITV’s figure skating competition Dancing on Ice, where he was partnered with Vanessa Bauer.

He won the series, beating Coronation Street actress Brooke Vincent and Scottish rugby player Max Evans. (Express UK)
