Fortnite skins: Epic Games update list as fans wait on Season 4 Battle Pass news

Epic Games have updated the daily item shop, with some prized Fortnite skins among the selection. However, fan are also waiting to find out more about the Season 4 Battle Pass.
For those who might have been busy over the weekend, a few new Fortnite skins were released.

And one of the standout outfits added to the game included the Leviathan, complete with a grumpy fish in a bowl.

It’s a pretty wild design and is currently available to pick up from the Fortnite Daily item shop.
There’s no guarantee that the new skin will be available tomorrow, so it might be the time for any hardcore fans to check their V-Bucks.

As always, it should be noted that the new Leviathan skin will not unlock any new abilities, or provide advantages over others.

These items are purely cosmetic in nature, so don’t expect any boosts from it on the Battle Royale island.

The Leviathan skin is of Legendary rank and means it goes for the hefty price of 2,000 V-Bucks.

Other items currently available to purchase include the Planetary Probe Glider, which is available for 1,200 V-Bucks.
Epic Games have also rotated new items in, including the Arctic Assassin skin, the Plunja Pickaxe and a couple of emotes.

Both the Wiggle and Reanimated emotes can be bought for now, although they will probably be rotated out at the end of the day.

Fans can also grab a free cosmetic item this week, with Epic Games making up for a recent outage.

The game was offline for around 24hrs for some players, with Epic Games deciding to make up for the problems by launching the Rust Bucket Back Bling for free.

“For Battle Royale players, this weekend we’ll be offering a Back Bling gift that you can pick up in the store for free,” Epic Games confirms.

“For our Save the World folks, this weekend we will be offering a Troll Stash Llama in the loot tab for free.

“Next week, we will be granting a pack of Battle Stars to our Battle Royale players and Seasonal Gold to the Save the World players.

“This will require brief additional downtime, so we will be including it as a part of our planned update next week.”

It’s unclear how long this will be available for, so it might be worth going over to the the store and grabbing it today.

Fans are also turning their attentions to Season 4, and what new designs will be available to earn.

The Fortnite Season Battle Pass is an optional purchase that allows fans to unlock new gear through the completion of challenges.

Each week Epic Games provide new Challenges to complete, giving players plenty of opportunities to unlock new skins.

Season 3 of Fortnite is scheduled to end on April 30, meaning the Season 4 Battle Pass isn’t far away.

The current Season has been loosely based around a space theme, so fans are curious to see what happens with Season 4.

There’s a chance that it might have something to do with a comet hitting Tilted Towers, and changing the map.

However, until Epic Games make an official announcement, fans will have to wait and see. (Express UK)
